Rukwila Cubs of Female leopard Hope approximately 4 to 6 months old. Not sure on the number of cubs in this litter! We had the luck of seeing 2 of them and photographed one. Gestation period for leopards is approximately three months and give birth to a litter of two or three cubs. Cubs weigh about half a kg at birth and born blind, with less or no hair. They highly depend on their mother for the first 6 months of life and are ready to live on their own after 12 to 15 months.
